Shipping
Serrano Legnami reserves a few working days for finding the product you request in stock, packaging and completing the administrative procedures necessary for shipping. To this must be added the courier's delivery times, on average 3 days, but times and methods vary depending on the courier and destination.
In the case of unavailable goods, it is necessary to distinguish between items of our production and those of other companies: for ours we only need a few days to create them, while the procurement time from other companies varies from 2 to 30 days working hours and in particular cases it can be even higher.
We would like to point out that our times also vary depending on the workload in our store, where we carry out not only sales but also assembly on site; furthermore, our business philosophy forces us to consider each order not as a simple package to be sent but as a bond that is established between our work and your spaces, and as such it needs time and attention in order to prove long-lasting and satisfying for both parties.
We therefore recommend that you always contact us before making a purchase to obtain detailed information on delivery times and for any possible customizations on the chosen products, e.g. due to the type of material or design. However, you will be promptly notified of expected delivery times and any delays.
We believe it is appropriate to make our information known. Dear Customers, during the Christmas, Easter and August holidays, there may be unavoidable delays in deliveries. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
During the shipping phase
Packages are delivered to the courier by 1pm each day. The Serrano Legnami company sends customers important information on how to accept receipt of the goods via email or telephone. From this moment the parcels begin their process: they are taken to the Courier headquarters and from there sorted to their final destinations. In these phases the packages undergo various removals and movements, therefore for these reasons, upon receipt of the goods it is necessary to check the packages carefully and always sign with reservation, to be entitled to a possible replacement of the product and at the same time demonstrate to the our private insurance to have adopted all the precautionary conditions for insurance coverage.
Each courier, already in the late evening or the following morning, sends an email or a text message to the customer's mobile phone, confirming that he is in charge of the goods and approximately the delivery time with the tracking link(tracking will only be activated after your order has reached the GLS warehouse). Customers have the opportunity to respond to text messages by midnight on the same day to modify any delivery parameters.
Upon receipt of the product
In order to make our service increasingly efficient, upon receipt of the package please scrupulously follow these four essential points:
- Carefully check the conditions of the packaging upon delivery by the courier, even if the package is not damaged, always sign subject to inspection, by placing the words "Pacco Integro - signature subject to inspection on the slip or palmtop strong>".
This operation allows us to have the right to a possible replacement of the product and at the same time demonstrate to our private insurance that we have adopted all the precautionary conditions for insurance coverage.
Otherwise we do not guarantee replacements due to hidden breakages (damage to the contents with an intact and undamaged package) and the compensation will be regulated by the carrier insurance with DL 286 of 11/21/05. - If the package is damaged, affix the words "I sign with reserve - damaged package on the slip or palmtop " - Always make sure it is written.
- If the package is seriously damaged, so as to have also caused damage to the internal contents, Reject the goods - and affix the words "Goods rejected due to damaged package".
- Check the number of packages delivered that corresponds to what is indicated in the tracking.
Those who fail to scrupulously comply with these four points will not be protected by the product replacement guarantees.
Any complaints must be immediately raised to the carrier and notified of the incident with relevant photographs to Serrano Legnami at info @serranolegnami.it, otherwise the product is considered delivered correctly. The invoice or tax receipt must be kept as a valid document for the guarantee where applicable.
For any damage caused by transport
Upon receipt of the goods, check the presence and integrity of all the items covered by the order.
Any communications of anomalies or breakages must be communicated via email together with photographs of the damage found within and no later than 8 days from receipt of the goods.
After eight days, we decline any type of responsibility for breakages/anomalies/shortcomings and for any redelivery (even due to absences or incorrect addresses), the cost will be borne by the recipient.
We do not accept complaints regarding products in assembled, installed and assembled kits/items. We do not accept complaints regarding products drilled or cut by the customer.
We do not accept complaints for faults or breakages due to incorrect use or assembly of the item.
Once the actual anomaly/breakage has been ascertained, the shipment of a replacement product or component depending on whether the problem concerns the entire product or only a part of it.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs by courier vary from a minimum of €9.15 throughout the Italian peninsula with the exception of the islands and remote areas (e.g. Venice, Sardinia, Sicily, Isola d' Elba and all the smaller islands etc...) in this case the costs will be €9.27; to a maximum of €220.00. for the entire Italian Peninsula excluding the Islands and disadvantaged areas already mentioned with a maximum of €255.00.
For shipments outside Italian territory, the costs will be calculated at the time, based on the destination and characteristics of the goods.
Goods sent by courier are always insured.
In the case of purchase by bank transfer, the goods will be shipped only after payment for your order.
Without any shipping costs, you can also collect the products you ordered from our store.
